We Are Not Going Back is an oil and acrylic painting that is inspired by the campaign slogan of 2024 Democratic Nominee, Kamala Harris. This piece shows two Black teenagers who are confidently headed toward a vibrant future where they have self-determination. The piece also conveys a gentleness between both figures, as their hands join to represent a sense of sisterhood and togetherness. Additionally, the figures are wearing pink and green - a nod to Vice President Kamala Harris' historically Black sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha.

This piece was on exhibit in the prominent art fair, Spectrum Miami in December 2024, as part of the art collective Women of Visions.
